Why are there so many more authors on the lists in this group than the website shows? Am I not navigating the website correctly or something? Are these all confirmed attendees?

Glad you found it. My list may be slightly longer because I added pen names as well.

More of Val Griswold-Ford's are listed under Valerie Griswold-Ford, I checked the website to make sure it was the same person.

Thanks! I edited the post to add her and Gwen Hunter. I also moved a few entries - I hate alphabetizing by first name, but that's the way the website has their list.

I only caught the name because I was specifically looking for a writing book I already own that she edited, I probably wouldn't have caught it otherwise. Personally when I make my personal list I organize by last name no matter how the site list it. It helps me find things on my bookshelf and it just seems easier to manage my shopping list. I really appreciate this list because it saves the time of search. Also had I not found your convenient DragonCon list I never would have realize ConCarolinas had more than the three guests on the featured page and I probably would have skipped it. I'm pleasantly delighted to learn how many regular writers will be there. My children and husband love the comic books and manga at the cons and everyone loves all the confident costumed people, but I prefer cons that have a lot of regular book writers because I'm not much of a comic reader. And I have no clue how to shop in advance to comic book artists the way I do for books.

While I agree, I just don't have time to reorganize it completely and having a different order makes it much harder to keep up with changes to the list on the website.

Will do, I'll be the one with at minimum two short boys (who look about 8 but are in reality 12 and 13 just really short for their ages) pulling me in different directions possible an angsty teenage girl if I can get her to go and a bunch of books. I start a shopping list when I find the events and buy up until the event leaving a few of the more recent titles to buy at the event to support said event. If bought them all at the event one I probably wouldn't find a lot of the interesting back list stories and two I'd never have the cash to buy everything I want at cover price on the same day. After that comes the fun task of creatively rearranging the bookshelf to make more books fit than should realistically be put on a shelf. I need another bookcase I just have no idea where I'd fit that...

The Melissa Gilbert on this list isn't the same one pictured on the site. According to the bio listing her books are published under Melissa McArthur
