I built AI Storyteller, a free website where you can listen to AI-narrated audiobooks of public-domain classics.

There are no ads, no subscription, and no registration required.

This may be the wrong group to ask. My feedback and that of many members of this group on AI recordings. - Absolutely not! This is the golden age of narrators and many of us are happy to pay for them. For those with visual challenges, computer voices have been available for decades. The only reason AI can sound more human is that human voices have been used (often without permission) to train them.

There are already several free options. Librivox has amateur narrators for public domain books. Libraries allow free downloads. And I get ads regularly from services - one is 11, or 111, something like that. Even Audible has some books with AI narration. So you are sort of late to the game.

**Plus - when I clicked on your link just out of curiosity, my computer told me the site might not be legitimate! Maybe that’s just a glitch but it didn’t instill confidence, so I didn’t go further.
