I am privileged to have had opportunities to write and get published. "Writing" I maintain should really be "rewriting", the perfect one way to say anything seems to be - elusive yet worth striving for. I am interested in many forms of expression. Dance, jewelry, and photography. I also enjoy playing the piano and the oboe. I write about things I have learned, as I did in "Crystal Energy" and about things I think about as I did in "The Wizard's Mirror.

Raised in NY city, I studied dance, and music, and graduated from The School of Visual Arts. Post graduate I attended the Kulick-Stark Academy for jewelry arts and continued to dance, mostly as a teacher in training. I was inspired by other artists and how they made art, how they dedicate their lives to art. I was interested in other peoples thoughts and in the process of thinking itself.

My first book, was as a result of working in a crystal store on Perry Street in Greenwich Village. That book, "Crystal Energy: Put the Power in the Palm of Your Hand" was an intoxicating experience for me. Writing this particular book allowed my mind to wander into the depths of the knowledge of crystal healing and literally tap into amazing reservoirs of knowledge.

After moving to Sedona, Arizona in the late '80's, I wrote The New Age A to Z, again, pretty much as a result of working with the public and sensing a need for this kind of easy to access compilation work.

I have over the years, gravitated to healing work. I see art, making it and seeing it, as one of the most powerful healers. As teacher of dance, I see the effect of learning and practicing on my students. That is a beautiful thing to observe.

Teaching, making art, writing, it is a journey of intuition. How it works and what it brings to us all has been an unfolding road for me. Along that road I developed an oracle, "Ivatos" and have written two books that talk about the oracle, how to use it and how it came to be. Those books are "Ivatos", and "The Wizard's Mirror".

I have recently made a collection of jewelry, based on the oracle. The basis of these easy to wear pieces are simple geometry forms. Sacred geometry and the look of ancient jewelry come together in this collection. It is adornment with a history as well as a more contemporary story and designed to bring positive energy into ones life.
