M.E. Nyberg is an author and award-winning filmmaker. INVISIBLE (Story of the USS Manta Ray) is his 4th novel, a WWII submarine Sci-fi thriller. His first three novels comprise The Shade Trilogy his first book series of gothic mystery.

Mr. Nyberg studied creative arts under August Coppola, earning his M.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies from San Francisco State University. Independent Press Awards 2021

Invisible (Story of the USS Manta Ray) has won Distinguished Favorite award under the Military Fiction category at Independent Press Awards/NYC Big Book Awards 2021. This is a milestone for me winning the runner up in this highly contested category at the IPA. (There were hundreds of excellent submissions).
