22 nov 2023: mc has the personality of an eight year old obsessed with vintage clothes and movie soundtracks. the love interest isn’t much better either. writing is awkward and cringe. kind of cliché and disappointing, but it’s entertaining i guess

3.5 - children’s classic and i always love a good jacqueline wilson, but i think i’m a little too old to properly enjoy it now especially because the book is so short. every time i read something new my opinion on adoption and children changes help
