3.5-ish? This novella had me laughing all the way to the end. 42-year-old divorcee Pollyanna (and she lives up to the name) has been screwed over in her divorce and need a job. She answers a... suspiciously vague newspaper ad that turns out to be for a transactional sexual relationship (aka, 'club bunny') for 56-year-old club prez Bonemangler, aka Abraham. She's super enthusiastic! He gets the feels! He puts his foot in his mouth and she dips! He gets the sad feels and tries to learn about toxic masculinity.

OTT super tongue-in-cheek MC grovel romance. A fun 'rejected mate' RH with some mystery and action. I especially liked that Legacy (oof, what a name) isn't an outsider or lower ranked shifter from the start. She's fully bought into the pack structure and rituals, even though there are massive hints for the reader that not all is well in the pack, and that Legacy's crush (Lucas, the alpha's son), is kind of a huge douchebag that her best friend, brother, and parents all dislike. It makes her downfall (outcast and rejected for almost exposing the supernatural world to humanity) even more painful.

A decent gut-punch/grovel tale. Skylar (MMC) was frustrating at times with his constant trying to appease everyone, and Harley (FMC) put up with it for too long. The big moment comes around the 60% mark, and I kind of wish it had happened at the 40%, with more time spent on Skylar's personal growth (I did like that quite a bit). I also wanted to know more about his brother.

The gut-punch is so painfully delicious and rage inducing, coming on the tail end of weeks of disrespect and condescension from Skylar's parents.
