Am a huge fan of S.M. Govett's writing and loved her latest book, When You Looked Away. It's a brilliant follow up to Believe. Nothing is as it seems in this tense, twisty thriller that will keep you guessing until the last page. DI Stratton returns to investigate the drowning of an 11-year-old boy who is discovered by his distraught mother. The plotting and pacing is masterful, keeping the tension high throughout, and making it a gripping read. I didn't guess the ending and was desperate to find out the truth. It's impossible to put down! It should be on everyone's reading lists this summer and deserves to be made into a movie. Loved The Museum of Second Chances. It's a gorgeous hug of a book - beautifully written, uplifting and heart warming. It's an ode to the redemptive power of community and friendships, and the need to find a sense of belonging in the world. I think this will fly! It's a tender, heartfelt book that will appeal to fans of A Man Called Ove, The Keeper of Lost Things and Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine.

Loved The Family Break. It's a tense, unsettling, pacy thriller, set in a holiday resort, where family tensions reach breaking point, with deadly consequences. Really enjoyed the twists and turns, the cleverly handled suspense, vivid descriptions and red herrings. I didn't guess the ending! A gripping plot about a missing child, and the devastating consequences for family and friends, coupled with beautiful, atmospheric writing. This book had me hooked and I couldn't put it down!
