I enjoyed the style of writing and the way all the little snippets of interviews came together .

The author did a good job of striking a balance between making the reader exam their own racial and ethnic biases, while also examining the extreme culture clashes and violence that may occur when insular ethnic and religious communities are forced to face the cultual assimilation of their first generation children.

I liked that the reader was left to make their own judgements without being spoon fed what we are to think . And indeed it left me thinking.
