I just reread Hot & Badgered by Shelly Laurenston. A chaotic and hilarious book to read.
Highly recommended to read.

One of many books I couldn't wait to get my hands on.

Listen one thing I know, and two things for sure, is that Kresley Cole know how to write a damn spicy book! I mostly read her paranormal books, since they're always hilarious and entertaining. But this mafia book, has done me in!

Lucia aka Cat is a fighter, and spicy as they come. But from the sound of it, it seems like that is what Maxim needed.

But there are three people who I really want to talk about, and one of them being our ML Maxim.

Maxim has been through more than his fair share of growing up in a harsh world. But I'm not going to get too much into it, since that is something the reader should find out on their own.
Maxim life is a tough one, and he grew up to become the hard man that he is.
When he is introduced to us, he is introduce as someone who had a certain type, and our FL was not it.... Or so he thought. But then one night with her has change everything drastically.

Discovering his past has truly made me sad, he and his brother deserves an HEA. Even though they keep self sabotaging there HEA, I love that they're not to prideful to admit when they're wrong.
Because who doesn't love a man who is not only willing to admit their faults, but also own it and work on being/ and doing better.

Speaking of brother lets move onto the next one and that would the youngest brother, Dimitri. Now from the glimpse here and there when he is mention, Dimitri story is one i'm looking forward to reading. Poor Dimitri, I cant say any of the brothers life was tougher than the other, but every one of these men deserves a HEA.
I do wonder if he will forgive his oldest brother Alek, but that is to be decided with time. I understand why he has resentment toward him, but I also understand why Alek had to do what he did. I hope with time all three of these brothers will find away to forgive not only each other, but themselves. Which is why I cant wait to read his book!

Now onto the final person I want to read and discuss about, Jessica. OMG Jessica is absolutely hilarious. Reading about her, while at work on break, had caused so many giggles and just outright laughter. She is a hoot! She's bold and mouthy and EXTREMELY outspoken and raw. I hope and hope she gets her own book. She's so fun to read about. Even through she just showed up for a very small part of the book, she made a huge impact. 😂

If you find yourself trying to figure out if you want to read this book or not, well dont fret too much and just read it. The amount of times I kept trying to quiet laugh while my husband was asleep next to me was too many to count.

Now I had a feeling that Nelle and Keane was going to get together, BUT I wasn't expecting the events that has lead up to, and happened through out the book.
As always anything that have to do with the Badger will leave you in tears. They are so mighty and strong predators.

I love, and I do mean love how everyone knew that if charlie got involve its something you never want to happen. The fact that Nelle makes it clear that she is the buffer before anything get to Charlie, makes me appericate and grin at how much a force Charlie really is. She is for rational one of the entire group, and when you step into a no touch zone, you risk not only your life, but the entire clan.

I absolutely LOVE Charlie from the first time she was introduced by Shelly Laurenston.

But i also love this little side interested. I was speaking about this with another reader, and we both agree that we can see Nat, and Kyle getting together. lol Reading about them in this book had me looking even more at these two, and further proving the idea of these two together. It just works that way.

It seems like the badgers are settling down in the town with the bears. And it might just stay that way. Now the only one left to is Streep and I am 100% curious who would get with out #1 actress Streep. I can't wait to see is going to come out next, and until then I plan on rereading this series.

Though I do hope Shelly Laurenston, would take a look back at the crows and ravens, since there are characters there, that looks very interesting and I would love to see who gets with who.
Esp, Ari and a big strong, idiot Mike. Or maybe Janelle and Tye.
