This is the most beautifully written book I have ever trudged through.
The characters are written well, the language perfectly encapsulates cold and icy wilderness ( I specifically looked up books to read in Winter), and I particularly enjoyed the magical realism.
I really can’t fault the book for anything except for maybe a ho-hum plot.
It deserves all the praise it receives, it was simply not my cup of tea.
