M. Shaheer Akhtar
Professor Dr. M. Shaheer Akhtar earned his Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Jeonbuk National University in the Republic of Korea. He is currently a Full Professor at the Graduate School of Integrated Energy-AI and at the New & Renewable Energy Materials Development Center (NewREC) at Jeonbuk National University. He is also working as a Visiting Professor in the Department of Engineering, School of Computing, Engineering and Mathematical Sciences, La Trobe University, Melbourne, Australia. His research interests focus on photo-electrochemical characterization of thin-film semiconductor nanomaterials, composite materials, polymer-based solid-state films, solid polymer electrolytes, electrode materials for hybrid organic–inorganic solar cells, small-molecule organic solar cells, supercapacitors, sensors, and lithium-ion batteries. Professor Akhtar is recognized for his contributions to nanotechnology research, with over 13,456 citations, h-index: 65, i10-index: 248 (Google Scholar: https://scholar.google.com/citations?user=Pu5pX-wAAAAJ&hl=en). He has consistently been ranked among the world’s Top 2% most highly cited scientists by Stanford University. In recognition of his scientific achievements, he has received international honors, including the “Outstanding 10 Years Contribution Award” from Jeonbuk National University, “Outstanding Scientist Award (2021)”, and “International Distinguished Research Excellence Award (2022)”.
