Serkan Biçici
Serkan Biçici is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Geomatics Engineering at Artvin Çoruh University, Turkey. He received both his M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in Civil Engineering from The Ohio State University, USA. His research interests span a wide range of topics within transportation engineering, including transportation planning, traditional travel demand modeling, and statistical modeling techniques for transportation data. In recent years, his research has increasingly focused on remote sensing applications in transportation, particularly on developing methods for extracting road surface characteristics and road infrastructure information from 3D geospatial data. He is actively involved in interdisciplinary studies that integrate transportation engineering with geospatial technologies to improve data-driven decision-making in infrastructure planning and management.
