Don't miss this! Leading the People Side of AI: Building Readiness and Adoption Across Five Essential Dimensions, June 04, 2026 -When: June 04, 2026 5:00 PM, EDT -Where: Steampunk Design Studio: 1753 Pinnacle Drive, Suite 215, McLean, VA 22102 ACMP DC has partnered with Baker Tilly for a hands-on evening that will change how you think about AI — and your role in making it succeed. AI initiatives don't fail because the technology doesn't work. They fail because the people, trust, skills, and systems around that technology weren't ready for it. As change practitioners, we've always known this. This workshop is your opportunity to make sure the rest of the room knows it too. What do you love about being a Change Maker? A few weeks ago, the ACMP DC chapter held a fun happy hour gathering to commemorate the second annual global "Change Management Day." About 30 of our fellow change professionals showed up for the celebration and to answer the question "What do you love about being a change maker?" After overcoming a few technical challenges, we'll be posting their answers over the next few days. Enjoy! Matthew Gaston, PMP, CCMP, Prosci, PCAI, CMAP Stacy Dunbar, MEd, ACC, SPHR, PMP Karen Cosgrove

It's not too late to register for this ACMP DC in-person event! Come and learn about "change response styles" and how to apply relevant research and best practices to better lead your teams through change.
ACMP DC Workshop: Understand How People Respond to Change — and How to Lead Them Through It Has it ever felt like you're in a room of people who "embrace change" but they seem to be on different pages? In this session, you'll learn why your observation is probably correct - and practical strategies to get them aligned and moving forward. A Change Response Style (CRS) describes how a person processes change and relates to others during times of change and transition within the workplace. There is no “right” or “wrong” CRS; each style has unique attributes that help and hinder change adoption. Join our facilitators Dr. Victoria Grady, Academic Director of the MBA/MSM Graduate Programs and an Assistant Professor of Management and Organizational Behavior at George Mason University, and Lydia Haas, Founder of Garnet Brands and Principal Consultant at Garnet Partners, for this interactive session where you will explore relevant research, practice different strategies, and leave with tools and tactics you can deploy immediately in your own change practice. Visit ACMP DC's event page for more information and to register: https://lnkd.in/d7vWr79p
