We’re grateful to have been selected to support the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), alongside prime partner Hadron Industries, in modernizing the Federal Explosives Licensing (FEL) process. Our work will move a manual, paper-based system to a modern digital platform, streamlining licensing for both applicants and ATF staff while improving efficiency and processing timelines. The FEL program plays a vital role in keeping hazardous materials out of the wrong hands, and also serves as a quiet engine for American industry. By making the process faster and more reliable, we empower builders to safely break ground on key infrastructure and drive commerce and the economy forward. We’re excited to support this work and look forward to collaborating with ATF and Hadron to deliver a solution that is secure, reliable, and easier for people to navigate. #AdHoc #govtech #digitalservices

This week is Public Service Recognition Week, a time to recognize the people who serve communities across the country at the federal, state, local, and tribal levels. Public service is often quiet work, but its impact is anything but. It shows up in the systems people rely on, the services they access, and the support they receive in moments that matter. We at Ad Hoc are grateful for the dedication, care, and commitment civil servants bring to this work every day. Their focus on making services more accessible, reliable, and easier to use helps ensure people can get what they need, when they need it. This past Saturday, members of our team attended An Evening for Hope in support of The Children's Inn at NIH. Each year, the Inn provides a free place for around 1,500 families to stay while their children receive treatment at the NIH Clinical Center. For many, it becomes a steady place in the middle of uncertainty, one that offers comfort, care, and moments that still feel like childhood. It was an honor to spend the evening with a community that is committed to helping families in such a tangible, human way. Thank you to The Children’s Inn at NIH for the work you do and for reminding all of us what it looks like to care for people in meaningful, lasting ways.
