Are you a ship, or a barnacle? Ships are built to weather storms. They sail as a fleet, look out for one another, and when conditions turn rough, they slow down, regroup, and help each other through. Ships rescue ships. They move with purpose, direction, and speed. Barnacles are different. Barnacle (noun): a small marine crustacean with feathery limbs that permanently attaches itself to a hard surface, such as a ship’s hull. Once attached, it cannot survive without something else to cling to. In business, the distinction matters. Too many companies unintentionally build a single ship and allow barnacles to accumulate - people who can’t move independently, need constant attachment, and ultimately slow the vessel down. We are doing the opposite. We are deliberately building a fleet. A business of ships, not barnacles. Independent, high-performing professionals who can sail fast, think clearly in bad weather, support each other when it matters, and move freely on the open seas. As we close out 2025, we do so ahead of all projections, and proud of what we’ve built after a challenging year for the recruitment industry as a whole.
