  • So many great API uses 💅

Unsolicited #SEO tip: Search intent is not static. I see people mistakenly diagnose content as being 'old' as to why it loses ranking, which isn't always the case. 🙂↔️ While freshness can be important (certainly in some verticals), it's not uncommon either for what people *mean* by a query on average to change over time. There are loads of examples: 🤳 Technology: Features becoming more or less important over time - and new features existing 😷 Health: New medicines, or understanding - such as during the pandemic changing, and searches moving with it 🕴 Business: New laws, e.g. freelancers and IR35 stuff in the UK There are many ways to keep your finger on the pulse here, but this is one of the reasons we build AlsoAsked: PAA answers change quickly in line with user demand and intent. This is what *significant* changes are, keep that stuff updated! ✅

Over the last few months, I’ve been building something that has completely changed the way I handle SEO content production. 🤩 One of the most time-consuming parts of my job used to be creating SEO blogs for clients. Between keyword research, competitor analysis, outlining, writing, formatting, internal linking, metadata, images, and publishing, it could easily take 30–40 hours every month. So I decided to automate the workflow. Using Claude Code as the backbone, I built a fully automated SEO content pipeline that now researches, writes, optimizes, and publishes blog posts across 26 client websites every month. The system uses Serper API for live Google SERP data, AlsoAsked API for real “People Also Ask” questions, Semrush API for keyword metrics like search volume, difficulty, and CPC, You.com API to analyze competitor pages, Freepik for featured images, and the WordPress REST API for publishing. I also made sure it works with both Rank Math and Yoast, and for sites where security plugins block API access, I built a custom WordPress mu-plugin as a fallback. The whole thing runs through a custom dashboard I built in Next.js and deployed on Vercel. From there, I can review topics, preview posts, manage credentials, publish content, and track everything across all 26 clients. What used to take 30–40 hours a month now takes around 3–4 hours of review and approvals. Still improving it every week, but seeing this run end-to-end for real client websites has honestly been one of the most rewarding things I’ve built. #AI #SEO #Claude #Content

SEOs and Copywriters! Give IntentGaps from Mark Williams-Cook a try. - Enter a URL (paste/attach draft may be coming) - It'll find your topic (you can manually edit) - It'll use the AlsoAsked API to find gaps Gaps are based off of People Also Ask questions, which are the next most likely questions beyond the topic / base query, so the intent is baked in. Here's how you can use the output: - Confirm you're hitting the obvious questions - Find the questions worth adding as a new section on the page - Find the questions that are so good they should be their own page On that last one, I usually put a blurb on the target page, then create a new asset for a deeper dive on the topic, and link. High relevance link, too, so really powerful. Similar to working with LLM outputs, you're the final judge on what ideas make sense and what are throwaways. But I have yet to run this and not get multiple ideas for content updates and even new pages. If you write for the web, give it a spin. Show Google your content is right in line with its own user data!
