Classical Music for Kids had a wonderful time performing our “Imagination! Vivaldi” program for students in East Harlem on Monday. Now is the perfect time to book a program for your child school in September or October. Help your school or child start the new year off right next fall!

New York's Leading Period Instrument Orchestra.
About us
The American Classical Orchestra is devoted to preserving and performing the repertoire of 17th- to-19th century composers, playing the works on original or reproduced period instruments. Through concerts and educational programs, the musicians use historic performance practice techniques and pass these skills down to future generations. In recognition of this work, the ACO has been awarded grants by the National Endowment for the Arts.

Franz Schubert’s brilliant String Quintet in C Major was the composers’s final instrumental work, completed just two months before his death at the young age of 31. Members of the American Classical Orchestra will be performing this masterwork at both Carnegie Hall’s Weill Recital Hall, and at the Irvington Theatre in Irvington, New York, on April 8 and April 10 respectively.
