Last week, our team gathered in Dallas for the A.E. Perkins Connect conference and this year's theme was "Connect with Uncomfortable." The name said it all. Connect is A.E. Perkins' annual gathering of leaders and builders from across the entire portfolio — Ameriflex, Workforce Go, and Accresa — coming together as one team with one mission. Over a few days, our teams ate blindfolded, rock climbed, danced in front of each other, took on hot pepper challenges, ate bugs, locked away their phones, competed in Squid Games at the Netflix House, and a whole lot more — things most of us would never voluntarily sign up for. But that was exactly the point. Growth doesn't happen inside our comfort zones. Discomfort, when you lean into it, creates connection, confidence, perspective, and resilience. That's true in life, and it's just as true in business. The challenges we're taking on in 2026 are no different. We closed out the week with The Flexies, our annual tradition celebrating the people who bring our values to life every day. Big hair, bold colors, and 80s energy. It was one for the books.
