Kaleb Olds has been promoted to Carpenter Foreman after completing Ames Construction’s Foreman in Training (FIT) program and achieving Journeyman status earlier this year. His growth reflects our commitment to developing our people and building leaders from within through training, mentorship, and hands-on experience. Ames Construction welcomed students from Stanly Community College (SCC)’s Heavy Equipment Operators Program to the South End-Around Taxiway (SEAT) Project at Charlotte Douglas International Airport. Students toured the jobsite, learned about airfield construction, and connected classroom training to real-world operations. After a full safety orientation, they even had the chance to get hands-on with Ames equipment.
