Amyx is proud to announce our award of the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) V-Umbrella Suite of Applications (V-Apps) task order, which was issued to our Joint Venture, AIX Tech. Amyx, in partnership with our Joint Venture Partner, VivSoft, will deliver sustainment and technical support for the V-Apps — a critical capability serving DLA and the broader Department of War (DoW) community. The V-Apps ecosystem plays a key role in enabling performance tracking and data-driven decision-making across DLA Aviation Engineering, Technical Data Management, and multiple user communities including DLA Weapons Support and DLA Troop Support. Through this effort, Amyx will help ensure these applications remain secure, operational, and mission-ready, while supporting DLA’s long-term vision of integrating capabilities into enterprise solutions like EBS. Amyx, A Tetra Tech Company, names Richard C. Schult Unit President to Lead Next Phase of Growth Amyx is pleased to announce the promotion of Rick Schult as its next Unit President, positioning the company for its next phase of growth and market expansion. Schult succeeds William Schaefer, who is stepping down from the role held since 2020. Schaefer led the successful sale of Amyx to Tetra Tech where the company now operates as a wholly owned subsidiary within the Federal IT Division, strengthening its platform for continued growth and mission support. Schult’s promotion comes at a pivotal inflection point for Amyx as the company accelerates its growth strategy across cybersecurity, enterprise technology services, eDiscovery and litigation support, systems engineering and technical assistance, and program support. As Unit President, he will focus on scaling capabilities, expanding customer impact, and positioning Amyx for continued success across existing and emerging markets. “I am deeply honored to lead Amyx through this exciting next chapter,” said Schult. “Amyx has built a powerful reputation for delivering mission critical solutions, and I look forward to amplifying that success, expanding our capabilities, entering new markets, and continuing to deliver exceptional value for our customers.” Schult joined Amyx in January 2024 as Chief Operating Officer, where he led the company’s program operations, playing a central role in preparing Amyx to scale. During his tenure, he strengthened operational discipline, enhanced cross‑program coordination, and expanded the leadership and management teams to support sustained growth, increased contract complexity, and long‑term organizational maturity. His leadership helped position Amyx to execute at scale while maintaining a strong performance culture and customer focus. “Rick’s elevation to Unit President reflects Amyx’s strong momentum and confidence in the company’s growth trajectory. His deep operational experience, strategic mindset, and proven ability to scale organizations make him uniquely suited to lead Amyx forward.” Said Olivier Jeannot, President of Tetra Tech’s Federal IT Division. Schult brings extensive leadership and operational expertise to the Unit President role, supported by more than 24 years of consulting experience across the federal government. He has a deep background working with the Department of War and multiple civilian agencies, with a focus on national security missions. Prior to joining Amyx, Schult held executive roles at legacy QinetiQ US organizations, establishing a standalone Defense business unit that generated more than $1 billion in new business growth. He also served in a key growth leadership role within a national security business unit, contributing to the development of a persistent surveillance solution, including a flagship award exceeding $150 million with the Department of Homeland Security’s Customs and Border Protection, Air and Marine Operations.
