Looking for a Senior AI Agent Engineer in San Francisco! (on site) Warning, this is not a vibes role. If you have ever yelled “representative” into a phone while trying to contact a healthcare provider, this team is trying to prevent that. Andiamo is partnering with a fast scaling healthtech company building agentic AI systems that real patients interact with every day. Their AI agents orchestrate patient interactions and scheduling flows with deep EHR integration. These systems are live in production, handling tens of millions of interactions and cutting hold times down to about a minute. They are hiring Senior AI Agent Engineers to help design and scale these systems. I have been tracking TA and recruiter job openings weekly for over three years. The data we're seeing this week matters! For the first time since 2022, we are back above 50,000 TA openings in the US. We are sitting at 51,236 as of mid January. Context matters. The low point was March 2023 at just under 23,000 openings. Since then, the market has more than doubled. The last time we even brushed 45,000 was October, and this move higher feels different. After the usual late December slowdown, hiring snapped back fast. What is most interesting is not just the number. It is where the demand is coming from. New TA roles are skewing heavily toward smaller, fast moving tech companies. A disproportionate share are AI first or AI native startups. These teams are hiring recruiters early because talent is now a core product risk, not a downstream function. Big companies are still cautious. Builders are not. The question is whether this finally turns into a sustained strengthening, or if this is another head fake driven by a narrow slice of the market. If you are in TA, recruiting tech, or building in AI, you are closer to the signal than most. What are you seeing on the ground right now?
