What does it look like when students take on real-world energy and climate challenges? It looks a lot like the ideas shared during the Atlantic City Electric Climate Challenge. Students spent the day exploring how energy use, emissions, and everyday choices connect, then applied those insights through hands-on experiences and solution-driven projects. The collaboration and critical thinking carried through from start to final presentations. Programs like this play an important role in building climate literacy while helping students connect what they’re learning to future opportunities in energy, sustainability, and beyond. #ClimateEducation #WorkforceDevelopment

In recognition of Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, we’re highlighting the Asian American Resource Group (AARG), one of our employee resource groups. AARG creates space for connection, learning, and growth by supporting professional development and encouraging meaningful engagement with Asian American communities. Through cultural celebrations, networking, community events such as the Dragon Boat Festival in Washington, D.C., and volunteer efforts throughout the year, members help foster understanding and strengthen relationships both within the workplace and beyond it. Through our continued partnership with Sustainable Jersey, $50,000 is available to support municipalities across South Jersey as they advance projects centered on environmental stewardship and community resiliency.
