Everyone knows farmers face tough decisions in the orchard, but this goes beyond that. After Del Monte’s Modesto plant closure, California pear farming families are especially grateful for their partnership with Pacific Coast Producers. Their support allows growers to focus on what they do best, growing high-quality fruit, while ensuring it still reaches families’ tables. With Del Monte previously contracting nearly 40% of pears used in canned products, Pacific Coast Producers stepping in to take on a significant share of that volume brings much-needed stability. This is what commitment to agriculture and our communities looks like. Thank you, PCP💙 💚 Read our latest press release here: https://lnkd.in/gxkycPxM

Mandated programs include promotion, research, standardization, policy, and the cumulating of industry statistics and information. CPAB is headquartered in Sacramento – the heart of one of the nation’s leading Bartlett pear growing regions.
