About us

Cameron LNG, a liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminal near the Gulf of Mexico, was constructed to bring clean, efficient natural gas supplies to North America. Today, domestic natural gas production in the U.S. is high, and the Energy Information Administration estimates that the U.S. has more than a 100-year supply of natural gas. Due to this shift in market conditions, Cameron LNG constructed natural gas liquefaction and export facilities next to the existing terminal to create bi-directional capability. Cameron LNG is now able to: • liquefy domestically-produced natural gas for export, • import LNG and regasify it for delivery to domestic markets, or • re-export foreign-sourced LNG. Cameron LNG is jointly owned by Sempra Infrastructure, TotalEnergies, Mitsui and Japan LNG Investment, LLC, a company jointly owned by Mitsubishi Corporation and Nippon Yusen Kabashiki Kaisha (NYK). Together, these companies represent extensive international and LNG market experience. Cameron LNG’s headquarters are located in Houston, Texas. With an estimated total investment of approximately $10 billion, the liquefaction project created new jobs, brought economic prosperity to the region, and provides America’s trading partners with access to supplies of natural gas.

  • We are proud to share that Cameron LNG’s Project Controls team has been named runner-up for the Technology Implementation Excellence Award at the 2026 Project Control Summit. By leveraging Microsoft 365 tools available within our organization, including Power BI, Power Automate, Microsoft Forms, Teams, and SharePoint, we built a fully integrated, real-time project controls ecosystem which enhances visibility, streamlines workflows, and supports faster, data-driven decisions across our capital projects portfolio. This effort has delivered measurable impact, including reduced reporting cycle times, improved forecast accuracy, and more efficient approval processes. Thank you to our cross-functional partners who helped make this possible. We’re honored to be recognized and remain committed to continuing to innovate and raise the bar in project controls. #ProudtobeCameronLNG #PCS2026 #TogetherWeAchieve #ResultsBasedSuccess

  • The future of women in LNG is bright! This International Women’s Day, we’re proud to celebrate the women working at Cameron LNG. From the field to the office, women are operating, innovating, delivering and leading! We celebrate their strength, their passion and their commitment to pursuing dreams, building careers and contributing to fueling the world. Today, we're spotlighting two success stories which highlight the power of investing in early career talent and creating opportunities for the next generation of LNG professionals.  Alicia Morris graduated from SOWELA Technical Community College and started with Cameron LNG as an entry-level Operator. Through dedication, teamwork, and a commitment to excellence, she has grown into a valued member of our Operations team, helping ensure our facility runs safely and reliably every day. Another journey started with a college intern from McNeese State University, who not only gained hands-on experience in the LNG industry, but established herself as a top candidate for a full-time role on our Engineering team. In a few short months, Grace Davis joins our team as a full-time Engineer, applying her technical knowledge to support the performance and reliability of our plant. At Cameron LNG, we are proud to support women pursuing technical careers and helping shape the future of our industry. #ProudtobeCameronLNG #InternationalWomensDay #WomeninEnergy #WomeninSTEM #LNG

Cameron LNG is proud to sponsor the third annual Lake Area Industry Alliance (LAIA) SWLA Women in Industry forum. Female leaders from the Southwest Louisiana industrial community united with the goal of mentoring female high school senior students from the five-parish region who have shown an interest in STEM-related or industry support role careers. Cameron LNG subject matter experts representing Engineering, Finance, Information Technology, Project Controls, Safety, and Supply Chain functions were in attendance to offer valuable insight to local students. During the event, students had the opportunity to network with industry representatives, contribute to round-table discussions with fellow students and industry experts, participate in mock interviews, and have professional headshots taken. Students in attendance are also eligible to apply for a scholarship through the Community Foundation of Southwest Louisiana. Special thanks to Healthy Image Marketing, for managing the event on behalf of LAIA member companies, and Work Designs LLC, for Cameron LNG’s custom gear. #ProudtobeCameronLNG

  • Putting Our People First: Introducing SafeStart Cameron LNG is proud to implement SafeStart International human error reduction program. We're investing in our team’s well-being by focusing on the "why" behind the "how." We all know the feeling of rushing to finish a task or getting a bit too comfortable with a routine. SafeStart provides the skills to catch those moments before an error happens. At the end of the day, the most important thing we produce is a safe trip home for every employee. In observance of Mardi Gras, we launched the program with a Hats Off to a Safe Start themed safety meeting where employees received an individual king cake and a custom Cameron LNG Mardi Gras hat from Work Designs LLC. We encourage everyone to Let the Good Times Roll but remember, safety is always the goal! #ProudtobeCameronLNG #SafetyAboveAll
