Casa Colina is seeking a skilled and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our clinical team. In this role, you will provide expert care to a diverse population of both pediatric and adult patients. You will be responsible for diagnosing cognitive and communication disorders, designing evidence-based treatment plans, and working within a multidisciplinary team to restore function and improve the quality of life for our patients. The ideal candidate possesses deep clinical knowledge, a collaborative spirit, and the ability to interpret age-specific data to provide highly personalized care. Key Responsibilities Diagnosis & Treatment: Competently diagnose cognitive and communication disorders and implement appropriate, individualized treatment programs. Patient Advocacy: Act as a vital member of the care team, providing recommendations and referrals to meet the unique needs of each patient. Clinical Communication: Effectively communicate progress, challenges, and goals with patients, their families, interdisciplinary team members, and payers. Data-Driven Care: Assess and interpret age-specific data to ensure treatment is developmentally and clinically appropriate for the patient's specific life stage. Documentation: Maintain accurate clinical records and stay current with best practices in speech-language pathology. Qualifications & Requirements Education: Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Communication Disorders. Licensure: Valid California State License for Speech Pathology. Certifications: * Current CPR/AED certification required. Note: Applicants with a current BLS may be hired but must obtain AHA CPR/AED certification within 30 days of employment. Clinical Expertise: Demonstrated knowledge of a wide range of cognitive and communication disorders affecting children and adults.
