What does potential actually look like? Most companies can't tell you. They measure credentials instead. At Catalyte we flipped that. We didn't care if you had a degree. We cared if you could think like an engineer. We built an assessment around four traits that kept showing up in every high performer we tracked: 𝗣𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗴𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 - can you see structure in chaos? Software is really about spotting what repeats and what's random. 𝗦𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 - can you break a big problem into solvable pieces? Forklift drivers and line cooks do this every day. It's the core of engineering, but it shows up everywhere. 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 - how fast do you pick up new concepts? We didn't test what you knew. We tested how fast you could learn what you didn't. 𝗧𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻 𝗮𝗺𝗯𝗶𝗴𝘂𝗶𝘁𝘆 - can you keep going when the answer isn't obvious? Most real work happens in the gray. Within five years, the average hire went from $25k to $98k. People who never had access suddenly had the capability. And capability is what actually drives performance. The talent was always there. We just stopped looking in the usual places.

You’ve likely seen it firsthand—ask the same AI system the same question twice, and it gives you two different answers. This isn’t random. It’s probabilistic behavior—and it’s central to how next-generation AI works. Knowing how to work with that behavior is the next skill every leader needs. We’ve invited an expert panel to show you how to work with that future. Led by Chris Sorel – Head of AI Advisory at Catalyte With 20+ years in software development, architecture, and enterprise AI strategy, Chris brings deep expertise in building adaptable, governable AI systems that deliver real value. Join us for our latest webinar: “Probabilistic systems, or: how I learned to stop worrying and love AI” June 26 @ 1:00 PM ET * Free registration: https://lnkd.in/gg_9K_4S Learn how to work with AI that evolves, while keeping your goals, governance, and human oversight intact. #ai #artificialintelligence #aiprobabilisticsystems #aidecisions #techstrategy #aistrategy #aiwebinar
