Chapman’s Tobias P. Moon spoke at the FinTech & Emerging Payment Systems conference today in New York. Chapman helps set the pace for how fintech and payments providers navigate evolving regulation, enforcement risk, and product design constraints. That foundation continues to matter in 2026, particularly when federal rulemaking remains fragmented and compliance expectations continue to shift. Nice piece from the State Bar of Wisconsin featuring Chapman’s Pro Bono Partner Sara Ghadiri. From Financial Institutions Pro Bono Day to client and legal aid partnerships and programming, Chapman is dedicated to advancing access to justice and supporting communities in meaningful ways. Impact in action—every day!
To celebrate National Volunteer Week we’re highlighting some of the many attorneys who donate their time to the profession. 🌟 Sara Ghadiri shares her talents with PINNACLE Seminars. ⚡Why do you volunteer through the State Bar? “I have loved having the opportunity to share updates and information about areas of the law Wisconsin practitioners may not be as familiar with. I enjoy learning and teaching and this is a great outlet for both.” 💁What does your volunteer service look like? “I've done two CLE presentations on immigration topics so far. I worked with my awesome co-presenters to develop material, and then helped teach folks about breaking or lesser-known immigration topics.” 👀Why is it important to volunteer? “Giving back in whatever way you can is so important! Most of us went to law school to make some kind of difference. Volunteering is a good reminder that whatever kind of law you ended up in, there is a way and space for you to remember what brought you to law in the first place.” 🤩Share an interesting fact about yourself. “I am an identical twin (no, my twin is not a lawyer)!” 🗣️What State Staff Are Saying “Especially on the topics that have been trickier to find speakers for, Atty. Ghadiri has been not only willing to speak on timely and important topics, but she also has suggested topics to me and worked to develop those ideas into presentations.” 📣 Share your own volunteer efforts in the comments or give a shoutout to another legal professional. 🙏 Get involved in your profession.
