Last week, we celebrated the opening of AGOLDE Melrose Place – our first flagship store and a new chapter for the brand in Los Angeles. We welcomed friends of the brand, collaborators, creatives, and community for an evening that reflected the spirit of AGOLDE and the city we call home. The night featured a DJ set by Liv.e, custom installations by Niki Haas, and the debut of our AGOLDE x Tupac capsule honoring the 30-year anniversary of “All Eyez on Me”. The evening concluded with a special orchestral performance of “California Love” by members of the Los Angeles Philharmonic, arranged by Derrick Hodge. A special night celebrating creativity, culture, and community in Los Angeles. We hope to welcome you to Melrose Place soon.

About us
Within the Citizens of Humanity Group, you’ll find Citizens of Humanity and AGOLDE. Two ready-to-wear labels, each of which boasts a uniquely directional voice and clearly carved place in the denim market. We are incredibly proud of each brand’s independence, but even more so of the characteristics that unite them. Built upon a philosophical foundation of commitment to quality and uncompromising standards, our core values support everything we do. We use only the most innovative fabrics sourced from around the world and facilitate product development in our vertically owned facilities to create denim, knits and outerwear of the highest caliber. We personally and carefully test every fit and fabric, and believe the practicality of a jean is as important as its design. Companywide, each brand is committed to being thoughtful in the creation of our product and uses advanced methods to reduce our imprint on the environment, including regenerative agriculture, laser technology, ozone machines and high-efficiency wash methods. In short, we invest in the future and look forward to all that is ahead. You can find our brands at retailers globally including 10 Corso Como, Browns, Bergdorf Goodman, Bloomingdales, FWRD, Goop, Harrods, Harvey Nichols, Holt Renfrew, Hypebeast, Intermix, Isetan, Kith, Lane Crawford, Liberty London, Luisaviaroma, Matches Fashion, Moda Operandi, Mytheresa, Neiman Marcus, Net-a-Porter, No. 6 Store, Nordstrom, Revolve, Saks Fifth Avenue, Selfridges, Shopbop, SSENSE, and TSUM.

AGOLDE was featured in Vogue Business, highlighting the brand’s continued growth and evolution beyond denim into a full ready-to-wear offering: https://lnkd.in/gEezXxjT The feature comes at an especially meaningful moment for the brand as we open AGOLDE’s first physical retail space on Melrose Place in Los Angeles – a new chapter in bringing the world of the brand to life beyond product. We’re grateful to the Vogue Business team for sharing our journey, and to the teams, partners, and community helping shape what’s next for AGOLDE.

We’re proud to announce the opening of AGOLDE’s first physical retail space in Los Angeles. Designed in collaboration with Niki Haas, the store introduces a sculptural, gallery-inspired environment rooted in craftsmanship, materiality, and quiet discovery. Throughout the space, thoughtful and unexpected details reveal themselves over time. At the heart of the store is a custom pink marble “river” designed by Haas – crafted in Portugal with raw, live edges to create a sense of movement, softness, and subtle playfulness. “The goal was to create a space that feels intentional and thoughtful – somewhere you can discover small moments and materials that reveal themselves over time.” – Niki Haas Every element reflects a handcrafted approach and a commitment to regional craftsmanship. Brass fixtures – from rails and racks to the storefront signage – were developed over six months and intentionally patinated to evolve over time, much like lived-in denim. This opening marks AGOLDE’s first step into physical retail – extending the brand beyond product and into space, while reinforcing our commitment to craftsmanship, culture, and design. Now open daily from 10AM–6PM at 8407 Melrose Place, Los Angeles. We look forward to seeing you there!
