Big news from one of our own! Plano-native Amber Glenn has recently been selected to join the U.S. Figure Skating Olympic Team and will represent Team USA at the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan, Italy. Amber is the daughter of Sergeant R. Glenn, who has proudly served the Plano Police Department for 26 years. We're honored to celebrate both her incredible achievement and her family’s long-standing service to our community. Looking for funding to improve your neighborhood? ✨🌿  Take advantage of the City of Plano's Neighborhood Vitality & Beautification Grant, a matching grant program that offers a reimbursement of up to $20,000 per grant cycle for community-driven beautification projects! Interested neighborhoods should email neighborhoodgrants@plano.gov to confirm eligibility and to ensure your project aligns with the grant’s goals before submitting a full application. Pre-applications open January 16 and are due February 27, 2026.
