Did you see us at SAP #Sapphire? 👀 The conversations this last week made one thing clear: AI in supply chain is no longer theoretical. Organizations are actively trying to connect planning, visibility, execution, and decision-making in ways that actually move the business forward. And yes… we’re literally still trucking toward those supply chain goals. From SAP IBP and AI conversations to orchestration, logistics, and operational visibility, the momentum at Sapphire has been incredible. Huge thanks to everyone who connected with the CloudPaths team this week. The future of supply chain is connected, intelligent, and built for execution. 🚛 #SAPSapphire #SupplyChain #AI #SAPIBP #DigitalTransformation #CloudPaths #SupplyChainPlanning Ron Blackburn Tushar B. This is such an important shift — and honestly one of the biggest themes that kept coming up at Sapphire. For a long time, enterprise systems were designed to document what happened. Now the expectation is changing: systems are being asked to actively support how decisions get made and executed in real time. That’s a very different challenge than simply layering AI on top of enterprise data. The hard part isn’t generating answers. It’s making AI usable inside the complexity of actual business operations — where governance, workflows, ownership, and execution all matter. The organizations getting the most value from AI right now aren’t necessarily the ones with the flashiest tools. They’re the ones figuring out how to embed intelligence into the systems and processes teams already rely on every day. It feels like the market is moving from “AI experimentation” into a much more operational phase — and that’s where things start to get interesting.

One thing we kept thinking about after reading Gartner’s latest supply chain insights is that the conversation around AI is finally becoming more practical. It's no longer “AI will solve everything”— but a much more grounded, operational sense. Teams are starting to see real value when AI is tied to actual workflows and decisions. Visibility is becoming more meaningful when it helps people act faster, not just report on what already happened. And partnerships matter more than ever because no one organization can realistically solve all of this complexity alone. What stood out most to us at CloudPaths was the shift in tone. There’s less focus on transformation as a buzzword and more focus on execution, accountability, and measurable progress. It feels like the supply chain space is moving into a more mature phase of adoption — and that’s a good thing. #SupplyChain #AI #Planning #CloudPaths #DigitalTransformation Tushar B. Ron Blackburn

One thing that keeps coming up in supply chain conversations lately is that teams aren’t just trying to become more efficient anymore — they’re trying to become more adaptable. The latest Intelligent Supply Chain Index does a really good job highlighting where the industry is heading, especially around: • connected planning • orchestration • AI-supported decision-making • and building resilience into operations What we think stood out to me most is that a lot of organizations already have strong systems in place. The challenge now is making everything work together in a way that actually helps teams move faster and make better decisions day to day. That’s where a lot of the real work is happening right now. This is worth the read if you’re thinking about where supply chain operations are headed next: https://lnkd.in/gYFWR4TU #SupplyChain #AI #Planning #CloudPaths #DigitalTransformation Cameron Schwartz

There were good conversations, great people, and somehow we’re still talking supply chain over dinner 😄 We had such a fun night at Fogo de Chão connecting with partners, customers, SAP teams, and others across the ecosystem after a packed day at Sapphire. One of the best parts of events like this is getting out of the sessions and having real conversations about: • what’s actually working • where teams are struggling • and where AI, planning, and execution are all headed next CloudPaths so appreciates everyone who spent time with us last night, and now onto the final day of Sapphire — let’s finish strong. #SAPSapphire #CloudPaths #SupplyChain #Networking #SAP #AI Ron Blackburn Frank Polito, RVP Sales - Digital Supply Chain Cameron Schwartz Michael Burns Tushar B. Midway through #Sapphire and the conversations continue to reinforce the same theme: Organizations are looking for ways to make AI, planning, and execution work together in a way that’s actually operational — not just aspirational. A lot of great discussions today around: > connected supply chain planning > orchestration across systems > how teams are approaching AI adoption beyond the pilot phase > and what it really takes to align data, workflows, and decision-making We also really appreciated the time with Aravind Bala., MBA, CPIM at Corning Incorporated, Dhaval Desai from Microsoft, Robert Lecinski from Owens & Minor, Nitin Murali from GALLO, and Lori Harner from SAP, along with many others. One thing that stands out this year is the focus is shifting from transformation as a project >> to execution as an ongoing operating model. That’s where the most interesting conversations are happening. #SAPSapphire #CloudPaths #SupplyChain #AI #SAP #Planning Tushar Bhalla Ron Blackburn Michael Burns Cameron Schwartz Sahil Bansal Pratap Namdeo Shinde Frank Polito, RVP Sales - Digital Supply Chain

Sapphire day 1 a huge hit!! Two more days of even more meaningful connections and converations. #orangeisthelookofthedayandtheweek
We’re at SAP #Sapphire and energized. Yesterday was a great mix of conversations across AI, supply chain orchestration, planning, and execution — but honestly, some of the best moments happened outside the sessions. We couldn’t be more excited for Day 2. Huge thanks to everyone who joined us for dinner last night. It’s always good to reconnect with familiar faces and spend time with people who are all navigating similar transformation challenges from different angles, and King’s Orlando is one of our fave spots. We’re really grateful for the conversations with: Sahil Bansal Tushar B. Venkatesan Venkat Dhaval Desai Sridhar Palakurthi Maddie Yoss Jesse Praski Melissa Hoover Frank Polito, RVP Sales - Digital Supply Chain Cameron Schwartz Ron Blackburn Walter Riskie Pratap Namdeo Shinde Praveen K. Michael Timurec Venkat Venkataramani Duane Smith One thing that continues to stand out at Sapphire is that organizations are moving beyond talking about transformation — and focusing much more on operationalizing it. AI adoption, connected planning, and execution visibility are all evolving quickly, but alignment across systems and teams is still where the real work happens. Looking forward to more conversations today. #SAPSapphire #CloudPaths #SAP #SupplyChain #AI #Planning

Gartner Day 1 — quick takeaways from the ground. A lot of good conversations today — and honestly, a lot of familiar faces. Always great reconnecting with people like Pushpinder Singh and Steve Kravariotis, along with others across the ecosystem who are all navigating similar challenges in different ways. One thing that’s clear early on: AI is everywhere in the conversation. But the focus is starting to shift from what it can do to how it actually fits into day-to-day operations. That’s where things get interesting. Also fun to see Tushar gearing up for a Supply Chain Brain interview — more to come there. Looking forward to day 2. #Gartner #SupplyChain #AI #CloudPaths Tushar B. Ron Blackburn Steve Kravariotis Pushpinder Singh

As we wrap up Gartner, a few things became clear. Between analyst conversations, time with SAP SCM teams, and sessions on supply chain orchestration, one thing came through clearly: The conversation is shifting from capability to application. AI is no longer the question. How it fits into real workflows is. Across discussions, a few patterns kept showing up: - AI adoption is accelerating — but still uneven across functions - Orchestration is becoming central to how organizations think about execution - Planning, data, and execution are being evaluated together — not separately There’s less focus on “what’s possible” and more focus on what actually works at scale. That shift matters. Because it’s where strategy turns into something teams can actually operate against. #Gartner #SupplyChain #AI #Orchestration #CloudPaths Tushar B. Ron Blackburn
