Joseph R. had been at AngelList for two months when he walked into a Redshift-to-Snowflake migration in deep trouble, already two months behind schedule. He had a 5-week window to migrate all 14,000 dashboards and reports AngelList runs on. He could've asked for three more engineers and four more months. Instead, he turned to Devin. With Devin, the migration finished 5.2x faster than projected.

Devin can now build and run Android apps. We added Android Virtual Device (AVD) support for Devin’s machine, which means Devin can now autonomously build, launch, and test Android apps. For teams building Android applications, this completes an important part of the development loop. Devin can inspect app behavior, reproduce issues, make changes, and verify its work in the environment where the Android app actually runs. Android emulator support is available today for Android developers everywhere on Devin. Read the docs and get started: https://lnkd.in/eUb42g8a

Scott Wu is the co-founder of Cognition AI, one of the fastest-growing companies in history. He’s also the greatest competitive programmer the US has ever produced. You may have seen him doing impossible card tricks and mental math. You’ve never seen him asked about weed, Michael Jordan, cancer, and human consciousness over a punnet of strawberries. That is what Colossus editor-in-chief Jeremy Stern did on a recent visit to San Francisco. For those less familiar with Wu: In 2nd grade, he entered a math competition for 7th graders, lost, and was so furious he still fumes about it 20 years later. The next year he entered the 9th-grade division as a 3rd-grader and got a perfect score. Then he won first place at the US national middle-school math competition and three straight gold medals at the International Olympiad in Informatics, where he became the greatest American gold-medalist and coach in history. Most of the people running the biggest AI companies met as teenagers, competing for their countries on international math and science teams. OpenAI’s Greg Brockman, Anthropic’s Dario Amodei, Meta’s Alexandr Wang, to name just a few. Most agree that the von Neumann among them was Scott Wu. In November 2023, a few weeks after his mother died of lung cancer, on the day Sam Altman was fired from OpenAI, Wu founded his own AI company: Cognition. He was 26 and saw earlier than almost anyone that AI would converge on agents that work in the background, 24/7, like coworkers. He shipped Cognition’s AI software engineer Devin in March 2024. It worked poorly, and he took intense public criticism for it. Now, in its first 18 months of service, Devin has generated $445 million of revenue run rate and usage has doubled every eight weeks. The US Army, Goldman Sachs, and Mercedes-Benz are all customers. Cognition is raising at a valuation around $25 billion. Jeremy Stern sat down with Wu, the emperor of the nerds, to ask the questions we’d all ask one of the smartest people in America—building the most consequential technology of our generation—if we ever got the chance. As well as MJ and weed, they talk about the cluster of competitive math prodigies behind so much of AI, what makes us human when AGI arrives, and why Wu believes he was put on this earth to teach AI how to code. Our co-founder Walden Yan joined RBC’s Head of AI Architecture Michael Jodha on stage today to talk about what it really takes to embed AI across the SDLC. A few themes that stood out: -This shift is not about introducing new tools. It is about rethinking workflows end to end, in close partnership with the teams who use them every day. -The forward deployed model is becoming essential, embedding with customers to drive real outcomes rather than handing off software. -As agentic workflows scale, optimizing models for specific tasks is emerging as a key lever for both performance and cost efficiency. We’re excited to continue to partner with RBC and transform how AI is leveraged across the bank.

Proud to partner with Prosigliere as they help organizations tackle AI-native software development. Engineers architect the outcomes, and then agents in parallel do the toil on tasks. "I am personally producing the output of 3 Senior Engineers a month—while handling my full-time CTO duties—by managing Devin in the background to resolve tickets and issues." - Nico Martinez, CTO of Prosigliere
10x productivity isn't a myth anymore. It’s a workflow. We are proud to announce that Prosigliere has officially partnered with Cognition to empower our engineers with their best-in-class AI Development Suite: Devin, the world's first autonomous AI software engineer, and Windsurf, the AI-enabled development environment. Together, we're helping organizations move beyond AI experimentation into something transformational: AI-native software development, where autonomous agents operate at scale, governance is codified, and humans direct outcomes instead of performing tasks. At Prosigliere, we are doing more than just using this technology to deliver lower cost output for our clients. We are providing a Concierge Service to help organizations master AI-native development. We don't just hand you the tools; we share our best practices, coach your teams, and ensure Devin becomes a high-output member of your organization. Our CTO, Nico Martinez, brings a veteran perspective to this integration: "Throughout my career leading engineering at the scale of NBCUniversal and Ticketmaster, I’ve sought out tools that actually move the needle on productivity. After significant trial and error, I found the right partner in Devin. Devin is not an AI companion—it’s a capable Engineer. By integrating it into our engine, we’ve improved the output of our top performers 5-10X. This allows us to provide significantly lower cost output to our clients without sacrificing quality. I am personally producing the output of 3 Senior Engineers a month—while handling my full-time CTO duties—by managing Devin in the background to resolve tickets and issues." Why CTOs are partnering with Prosigliere: • Autonomous Velocity: We leverage Devin to ship high-quality code at a speed and price point that traditional development can’t match. • Concierge Coaching: We help you onboard and operationalize Devin, bypassing the learning curve with our proven best practices and "in the trenches" experience. • Strategic Oversight: Your senior talent stops performing repetitive tasks and starts directing autonomous agents to drive outcomes. We aren't just an engineering firm; we are your roadmap to an AI-augmented future. If you’re ready to move beyond AI experimentation and see what 10x output looks like in practice, let’s connect. Devin Review now runs hundreds of thousands of times per day, helping developers understand, review, and merge code faster. Starting today, Devin Review is live inside Windsurf. As agents generate more code, review and verification are becoming the bottleneck. Writing a PR can take minutes. Understanding whether it is correct, safe, and ready to merge often takes longer. With Devin Review in Windsurf, engineers can review complex PRs directly from the IDE, with smart diff organization, copy/move detection, bug findings, explanations, and a path from findings to fixes through Devin. We’re also launching Quick Review in Windsurf: a fast local review tool powered by SWE-check, our specialized bug detection model that’s up to 10x faster than a deep review agent while preserving accuracy. Quick Review helps catch bugs before a PR is opened. Devin Review provides deeper review once a PR is ready. Together, they bring fast and comprehensive code review into the same workflow where code is written. Available today in Windsurf 2.0.
Code review is moving into the IDE. As agents help engineers write more code, review and verification are becoming the bottleneck. You can open a PR faster than ever, but shipping still depends on knowing whether the change is correct, safe, and ready for production. Today, we’re bringing two review workflows to Windsurf 2.0: 1. Devin Review in Windsurf Run Devin Review directly from the IDE. See bugs, comments, and findings on your PR without leaving your editor. Devin Review helps with deeper PR review: smart diff organization, copy/move detection, clear explanations, and a path from findings to fixes through Devin. 2. Quick Review Run a fast local review on your working tree before opening a PR. Quick Review is powered by SWE-check, our specialized bug detection model that’s up to 10x faster than a deep review agent while preserving accuracy. Use Quick Review before pushing. Use Devin Review when your PR is ready for deeper review. Both are available today in Windsurf 2.0.

Building AI Transformation from the Ground Up 🚀 A year ago, we asked some hard questions: Are we building for scale? Are we delivering value as simply as possible? Are we ready for what AI actually demands, not just in tools, but in mindset? 12 months later, Group Wealth Engineering at OCBC isn't just talking about AI, we're living and leading it, across the group and if I dare say, amongst our industry peer group. What's changed: Our teams across #BankofSingapore and #OCBC have fundamentally rethought how we solution, design, build, and deliver. We've enabled our entire Group Wealth Engineering team, scaled across Group Engineering, and expanded to adjacent divisions. Last week's Asia Pacific launch of #Cognition marks an inflection point. Our early strategic partnership has transformed our engineering capabilities and reinforced OCBC's position as not only Singapore's longest-established bank, but its most forward-looking. The real shift isn't the tools. It's how our engineers think: → Simplifying before scaling → Questioning before adopting → Building with intent, not hype This elevated perspective and our new Ways-Of-Working (nWOW) is the real competitive edge. Still early. Still learning. Plenty to figure out. But if the last 12 months indicate anything, the trajectory is clear, and the best work is still ahead! In addition, big congratulations to our teams who are crushing it with the following industry awards: 🏆 Best Technology Implementation for Digital CX 🏆 Best Use of Technology for Customer Experience – Overall 🏆 PMI Project of the Year – Loan Switch and Strategic Buying Power 🏆 Best Wealth Manager – Digitally Empowering RMs 🏆 Best Portfolio Insights & Actionable Nudges To every engineer, architect, product owner, delivery lead, and partner helping drive this transformation forward every day - thank you. Security remediation is an engineering capacity problem. Most enterprises already have tools that surface issues quickly: scanners, CI checks, SAST and SCA tools, cloud security alerts, and internal policies. The harder part is what happens after detection. Every finding still has to become a safe code change, validated in the context of the actual codebase and reviewed through the team’s normal engineering process. That gap is becoming more urgent. Recent supply-chain incidents like the malicious axios release show how quickly risk can appear in widely used software, and model capabilities like Mythos point toward a world where vulnerability discovery and exploitation keep getting faster. Attackers are starting to operate on compressed timelines. Most remediation workflows still are not. In response, we’re launching Devin for Security: a new set of workflows for security and engineering teams using Devin to move from finding to fix to reviewed pull request. Give Devin a scanner finding, failed check, alert, or security ticket. Devin investigates the affected code path, implements the fix, runs tests and scanners, opens a PR, and iterates until checks pass. Devin Review then helps engineers review the change with codebase-aware context. The hub focuses on three workflows: 1. Reduce security debt Use Devin to remediate vulnerability backlogs, dependency issues, insecure configurations, and repeated risky patterns across one or many repos. 2. Secure every release Use Devin to turn failed checks, blocked PRs, and policy failures into review-ready fixes before merge. 3. Accelerate triage and response Use Devin to take the first pass on alerts, findings, incident follow-up, runbooks, and postmortems. We’ve already seen this pattern matter in production. On March 31, a malicious axios version shipped with a hidden dependency on an impersonator package. Devin Review flagged it for customers in under an hour, before the attack was publicly known. And because Devin works through your existing SDLC, the controls stay in place: SSO, RBAC, scoped repo access, isolated execution, branch protections, required reviewers, human-controlled merge, and full session audit trails. Security teams do not need more unresolved findings; they need more capacity to fix them. Devin for Security is live today: devin.ai/security
