Conti Federal has successfully completed environmental remediation at the Unimatic Manufacturing Corporation Superfund Site (OU2) in Fairfield, NJ. Awarded by the USACE Kansas City District, our team removed PCB‑contaminated soil, restored clean backfill, and completed full wetland and site restoration to support long‑term ecological recovery. “This project reflects our commitment to protecting human health and the environment and our ability to deliver complex remediation work in partnership with federal agencies,” said Laura Tobin, Vice President, Environmental Business Line Manager. The cleanup marks a major milestone in addressing legacy contamination from the decades of industrial operations onsite. Our project team working on the Combat Rescue Helicopter Simulator Facility at Aviano Air Base reached a major safety milestone: 365 days without a recordable incident or injury. This achievement reflects the team’s discipline, planning, and commitment to putting safety first—every day, on every task. This project includes building an 870‑square‑meter squadron operations facility and completing extensive renovations to create a state‑of‑the‑art training environment for the Combat Rescue Helicopter mission. Reaching one full year injury‑free on a project of this scale speaks to the team’s focus on the mission and executing it safely. Our Orlando team showed up strong at the AdventHealth Corporate 5K.
