We'd like to automate coding. To advance that mission, we're building Cursor. Our work includes training the world’s most widely used coding models, creating infrastructure that supports billions of requests per day, and building better ways for humans and AIs to work together.

Starting today, you can run cloud agents inside fully configured development environments. Set them up the same way you'd set up a laptop for an engineer: cloned repos, installed dependencies, and toolchain credentials. Agents can test and verify their work, not just write code. Customers like Decagon, Amplitude, Bilt, and Snyk are already using development environments to ship agents that handle tasks end-to-end. It was great to chat with Chris Kasten (Intuit), Ryan Sokol (DoorDash), and Taroon Mandhana (Atlassian) at our inaugural Cursor Conversations event on how teams are changing the way they build software with AI. A few topics we discussed: why human coordination costs stay fixed even as technical costs collapse, what happens to code review when AI produces more code than humans can read, and how to rethink team structure when designers and PMs are submitting PRs. You can now customize how deeply Bugbot thinks during a PR review. At Cursor, we use high effort for changes to our infrastructure and backend so Bugbot detects more issues. Other PRs get default effort. Effort levels are now available to all users on usage-based Bugbot and can be configured from your Bugbot dashboard. PayPal is shipping like a startup again with Cursor. The company could deliver 40% more capabilities in 2026 and recently completed a large-scale 3,000-app Java upgrade 6x faster than expected. "The most important thing is our developers are participating in the AI journey. They want to come work for us because PayPal supports tools like Cursor," said Prakhar Mehrotra, SVP and Global Head of AI at PayPal. Learn more here: cursor.com/blog/paypal
A new PR review experience is now available in Cursor 3. Take PRs from creation to merge, all in one place. You can see comments, diffs, commits, and review status to understand what changed and next steps. Navigate larger PRs more quickly with the file tree and changes picker. Introducing /orchestrate, a skill that recursively spawns agents to tackle your most ambitious tasks with the Cursor SDK. We’ve used it to: - Autoresearch our internal skills, cutting token use by 20% while improving evals - Cut cold start times on our internal backend by 80% Planners spawn workers that write code and verifiers that run it. If verification fails, the planner spawns a new worker to fix it. To try the /orchestrate skill with the Cursor SDK, download the plugin from our marketplace: https://lnkd.in/gYt6QVwR
We use previous generations of Composer to train future ones. Our autoinstall system has earlier Composer models set up dev environments for RL training. That way, the next generation can focus on learning to solve harder problems. https://lnkd.in/gFmvTXMu
