DLB Associates

Last fall, I had the honor of accepting an internship with DLB Associates, and I just wrapped up my first day today. DLB is an industry leader in mission‑critical and data center engineering; their work spans site selection, design engineering, commissioning, energy optimization, and more. I'm super excited for the opportunity to learn from a leader supporting some of the world's most advanced AI-driven infrastructure, and I’m excited to contribute to projects that push the boundaries of mission‑critical engineering, energy efficiency, and sustainable data center design. A big thanks to Janelle H., Kadija Koroma, Heather Lombardo and everyone else who helped out with such a welcoming onboarding process. Looking forward to this summer!

This past week I graduated from Georgia Institute of Technology with a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering. I'm eternally grateful for my time at GT, and the people I've been privileged to meet. I'm thrilled to start the next chapter of my career with DLB Associates!

I'm happy to share that I’ll be spending this summer with DLB Associates as a Commissioning Intern! This role will give me the opportunity to work on commissioning and testing for large infrastructure projects while gaining hands-on experience with electrical and mechanical systems in the field. I’m excited to learn more about the industry, travel to project sites across the country, and continue building practical engineering experience outside the classroom. Thank you to everyone who has helped me throughout this process. I’m excited to get started this summer!

I’m excited to officially share that I have graduated from Kennesaw State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology. Looking back, this journey taught me far more than engineering alone. Through classes, projects, internships, and hands-on experience in quality engineering, manufacturing, electrical systems, calibration, and engineering design, I was able to grow both professionally and personally. There were many moments that tested me, but one mindset always kept me moving forward: “There’s not a step back in life, there’s only forward.” I am forever grateful to all my professors, mentors, coworkers, friends, teammates, and family for all the support throughout these years. Every challenge and opportunity helped shape the engineer and person I am becoming. I’m also excited to begin this next chapter with DLB Associates, starting June 1st as part of the Mechanical Design Team. looking forward to continuing to learn, grow, and contribute in the mission critical and data center industry.
