  • Our ESC2 HIPPY Art in the Park – Celebrating Moms Event at the Antonio Garcia Arts Center was a memorable experience for our HIPPY families. Through the collaborative efforts of our dedicated team, we were able to provide a meaningful parent engagement event focused on honoring and celebrating our HIPPY Moms. During the event, HIPPY children had the opportunity to showcase their creativity through painting and Mother’s Day collages. Families also enjoyed several outdoor games and interactive stations, including cornhole, bean bag toss, water gun target games, and a bubble station. Attendees shared a pizza picnic lunch and received a wooden art supply kit with a drawing pad as an attendance incentive. A special highlight of the event was a heartfelt performance by the West Oso High School Mariachi Group, who serenaded our mothers and helped make the celebration even more memorable. Each mother was also presented with a Mother’s Day rose in appreciation of their important role within our families and community. We were also pleased to welcome community vendors, including Big Brothers Big Sisters and ESC2 AEL Crossroads, who provided valuable information and resources to our families. The event welcomed approximately 140 attendees, including adults and children. Overall, the event was filled with creativity, community engagement, and joyful celebration, making it a truly successful occasion for all involved.
