Elica Resource Center - 2025: A Year When Help Became Action 💜 2025 was about people! About families seeking support, about children whose care started with simple but essential things, about a community we listened to - and responded to 💜 Every day, we were there: by phone, in person, at the exact moment help was needed most 💜 Thousands of people reached out this year, and we helped them take the next step toward stability and health. Our Resource Center became a place where support truly feels real. Over 7,000 families received in-person help, and the center welcomed more than 24,000 visits ✔ We helped meet basic needs, because safety starts there. In 2025, families received: 🍎 135,000 lbs of food 👕 55,000 lbs of clothing 🧸 Thousands of toys and school supplies 📚 When the cold months arrived, care became especially tangible: we provided 1,000 new warm coats 🧥, ensuring children and adults faced winter safely and warmly. We paid special attention to families with children. Over 160,000 diapers 🍼 supported 1,500 families and more than 2,000 children. By the start of the school year, 300 backpacks 🎒 reached students - a sign of belief in their future. But 2025 wasn’t just about immediate help. We went into schools, neighborhoods, and public spaces, holding educational and informational events, talking about health, rights, and resources - meeting people where it mattered most 🌍 We improved processes, expanded behavioral and mental health support, and learned to better understand the cultural needs of our community. We built a system where care is not a one-time act, but a lasting support 💡 In 2026, we will continue to ⤵ ✅ expand access to help ✅ strengthen mobile & outreach programs ✅ develop programs for children, mothers, and seniors ✅ reinforce trust and partnerships with the community 💜 2025 showed one thing clearly: when help is built on humanity and respect, it truly changes lives 💜 Thank you to everyone who was part of this journey! We continue 💜

This year, 14 mobile clinics participated in our Mobile Health Impact Accelerator and their work was TRANSFORMATIVE. Beyond providing care, many teams conducted community needs assessments, listening to residents and community partners, gathering local data, and understanding the most pressing health and social challenges. This work ensures clinics are targeting their efforts where they matter most, tailoring programs to real community needs, and making every dollar count while strengthening public health and driving measurable impact. A huge thank you and congratulations to our 2025 cohort: American-Italian Cancer Foundation (NY), Beebe Healthcare (DE), California State University San Marcos Mobile Wellness Initiative (CA), Community Health Center, Inc. (CT), Counseling Skillz on Wheelz (SOW) (OK), Elica Health Centers Mobile Medicine (CA), Harborview Medical Center Mobile Health Outreach (WA), Ohio University Heritage Community Clinic (OH), Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies Coalition of Hawai’i (HI), Fort Defiance Indian Hospital Board, Inc. Mobile Health Program (AZ), Rutgers Cancer Institute ScreenNJ (NJ), St. Bernard Hospital Mobile Health Unit (IL), University of Arizona (AZ), and UT Health San Antonio Wellness 360 Pediatrics (TX). Transportation is an obstacle to care for many people in the communities we serve. 🚎 🏥 🚗 We’re thrilled to be one of the 11 grantees of the Health Access Fund. This grant support from Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC) and Uber is helping us get more people to the medical and social services appointments that contribute to their health and well-being. 💜 💜 💜
Great news! LISC and Uber are expanding our Health Access Fund to continue breaking down transportation barriers to care. Since 2022, the fund has helped more than 46,000 people reach vital health and social services. With new grants to 11 community-based health organizations nationwide, we’re helping even more people get to the care they need.
