#InsideEnago this last quarter: It’s been a milestone quarter for Enago. We unveiled our refreshed brand identity built around our guiding philosophy - Intelligence with Integrity: reflecting how we've evolved alongside the changing needs of publishers, institutions, and researchers. We connected with the scholarly publishing community worldwide, exhibiting at the Society for Scholarly Publishing Annual Meeting and the Beijing International Book Fair(BIBF), and attending the PubTech & STM APAC Conferences, the 24th Annual Meeting of the Japan Society for Intellectual Production, and the DRAA, CAS, and CAAS conferences across China. Reports by Enago surpassed 10,000 manuscripts screened for the Royal Society of Chemistry, while our partnership with Silverchair brought the product to #ScholarOne, making research integrity checks more accessible within publisher workflows. We also welcomed Royal Society Publishing as the first ScholarOne customer to adopt Charlesworth Gateway, and strengthened Reports by Enago with LLM-powered checks and the Signals integration. We were delighted to continue supporting leading research institutions, with Yonsei University Graduate School selecting Enago for a third consecutive year as its official English #LanguageEditing partner. Behind the scenes, we hosted internal sessions including 'Beyond Borders: Discovering Global Cultures', appreciation days across our global offices, potlucks, team-building activities, karaoke and crossword evenings, leading up to our grand annual celebration - the Crimson Annual Awards Night! #quarterlyupdate

Everyone agrees #AI is here to stay in research. But has our use of it actually become more responsible? Last year, we asked the global research community how they were using AI in scholarly publishing. The results were both encouraging and concerning. 🔴 97% said AI had become part of their research workflow. 🔴 66% reported improvements in quality and efficiency. 🔴 99% still had concerns about AI use. 🔴 51% document AI use. Last week, the Enago and Charlesworth teams were at the STM APAC and PubTech Conferences in #Beijing, listening to industry leaders and engaging in discussions on AI, research integrity, emerging technologies, evolving workflows, and the future of academic communication. We also had a brilliant time at the Beijing International Book Fair(BIBF), attending the opening ceremony, reconnecting with colleagues, peers, and customers! Our teams have come back armed with new knowledge and a deeper understanding of the publishing ecosystem in China.

How did we use #agenticAI to assess the indexability and discoverability of Chinese journals? In this poster presented at the Society for Scholarly Publishing meeting, Andrew Smith, Director of Marketing at Charlesworth, an Enago company, talks through the challenge, process, and outcome.
