We love our #VOA chapters. We are so proud that VOA Illinois is one of our #Envisionaries. VOA Illinois has been at this for 130 years, serving people across the state of Illinois who need a place to call home and the support to build on it. 🌷 That work runs through services for veterans, youth, and older adults, homeless services and rapid rehousing, and Operation Backpack, which sends Illinois kids back to school with what they need. 🫶 Last year the team broke ground on Hope Manor Village Joliet, the first affordable housing development in Illinois built for women in opioid recovery. 💪 👏 Programs like this take a lot of effort to get off the ground, and it is worth celebrating their efforts to stay aligned and on track. #Envisio #NonProfit #TechForPublicGood

City of Yellowknife is one of our more recent #Envisionaries. 🗻 🌲 Founded in 1935, one year after gold was found on the north shore of Great Slave Lake, Yellowknife has been the capital of the Northwest Territories since 1967. This far up north, the aurora shows up most nights of the year. They're championing a people-first culture of public sector excellence, and we can't wait to see what they do next. 👏 💫

We're glad to shout out City of Beaumont, CA, as one of our #Envisionaries. Beaumont sits at the summit of the San Gorgonio Pass in Riverside County, between San Bernardino and Palm Springs. It was incorporated in 1912 and named for the French for "beautiful mountain." ⛰️ ✨ The spring Cherry Festival, which traces back to a Cherry Blossom Festival started in 1929, still draws the community out every year. 🌸 They are a rapidly growing municipality, and they are prioritizing goals residents can see and progress the city can report on.
