  • 𝗕𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗸𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗶𝗻 𝗔𝗜-𝗗𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗶𝗻 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻 A new study published today in PNAS—“𝘗𝘳𝘰𝘛-𝘝𝘈𝘌: 𝘗𝘳𝘰𝘵𝘦𝘪𝘯 𝘛𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘴𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘮𝘦𝘳 𝘝𝘢𝘳𝘪𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘢𝘭 𝘈𝘶𝘵𝘰𝘌𝘯𝘤𝘰𝘥𝘦𝘳 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘍𝘶𝘯𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘢𝘭 𝘗𝘳𝘰𝘵𝘦𝘪𝘯 𝘋𝘦𝘴𝘪𝘨𝘯”— highlights the collaboration between Evozyne and NVIDIA, showcasing how AI transforms the way proteins are designed. Built on the NVIDIA BioNeMo framework, Evozyne’s ProT-VAE model delivers unprecedented capabilities in functional protein design. 𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗶𝘁 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀: This collaboration shows how advanced AI from NVIDIA and biological innovation from Evozyne accelerates the design of proteins with tailored functions. ProT-VAE opens the door to faster development of new therapies for patients with high unmet needs. 𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗶𝘁 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀: ProT-VAE integrates two cutting-edge AI approaches: • One that simplifies and interprets complex protein data. • Another that “reads” protein sequences like a language model. With NVIDIA’s powerful AI infrastructure, ProT-VAE rapidly and accurately generates new protein designs that don’t rely on comparisons to existing proteins. This past weekend, Evozyne’s very own Susan Katz MBA, PLY was inducted into the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Hall of Fame as part of the Class of 2025. This honor is a tribute to her legacy as a world-class athlete and champion for inclusion and excellence on and off the court.   As a member of the 2004 U.S. Women’s Wheelchair Basketball Team, Susan helped lead the U.S. to a historic gold medal victory at the Athens Paralympic Games — the team’s first in 16 years. That unforgettable run included defeating the dominant Canadian team in the semifinals, ending their decade-long reign. The team went on to win gold again in 2008, marking the first-ever, back-to-back gold medals for U.S. women’s wheelchair basketball. The 2025 Hall of Fame class included Gabby Douglas, Kerri Walsh Jennings (both pictured with Susan), Serena Williams, Bode Miller, Steve Cash, and others, whose legacies embody the values of the Olympic and Paralympic Movement. Susan’s achievements truly exemplify that spirit. We’re lucky to have her as part of the Evozyne team, where her leadership, determination, and passion continue to motivate and inspire us every day.   Congratulations Susan! And, congratulations to all inducted into this year's Hall of Fame!   A full list of athletes honored can be found here: https://lnkd.in/giYMhceM
