New spacecraft cleanroom complete! Today we were joined by NASA Moon Base leadership, the Texas Space Commission, and federal and state government representatives, to celebrate this milestone. Funded by a Texas Space Commission grant, this facility is four times larger than our existing cleanroom, allowing us to ramp up production of our lunar landers and orbital spacecraft to support our growing mission manifest. Production is ramping up! From our engines to our composite structures, avionics, batteries, and harnesses, our teams are building faster and smarter. We’ve optimized assembly lines, expanded production space, upgraded manufacturing capabilities, and increased throughput across our spacecraft and launch product lines. Built reliably. Built for space.

Twenty-five years later, we remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and honor the extraordinary courage of the first responders, service members, and everyday heroes who rushed to help in the face of unimaginable tragedy. Their heroism continues to inspire us. Never forget.

From Sweden to orbit. SSC Space signed on for two Alpha launches from Esrange Space Center in Sweden, targeted to launch in 2028. With the release of To the Black, a documentary that chronicles Firefly's early years, we're reminded of where our journey began—and even more importantly, how far we've come. Since then, Firefly has entered a new era of leadership and growth, with multiple launches, the first successful commercial Moon landing, an IPO, and an expanded portfolio that includes AI software capabilities. Our story is just getting started. Last week our CEO Jason Kim visited the Buckley Space Force Base Mission Control Station to meet with the 11th Space Warning Squadron, the team responsible for operating Firefly's FORGE system, a critical missile warning and tracking system delivered by SciTec. Grateful to the USSF Combat Forces Command and Space Systems Command for the opportunity to witness FORGE's revolutionary technology in action, safeguarding our nation every day.

Surviving the lunar night. Firefly is onboarding Zeno Power on an upcoming Blue Ghost mission to tackle one of the biggest challenges on the Moon: operating through the extreme cold and prolonged darkness of the lunar night. Hosted on our Blue Ghost lander, Zeno’s payload will demonstrate radioisotope and nuclear-powered technologies to extend operations beyond sunset when temperatures can fall below -280°F. https://lnkd.in/eh528Nyi
