About us
Welcome to Freixenet Mionetto USA, one of the largest sparkling wine companies in the U.S. Freixenet Mionetto USA is a culmination of devotion to the art of winemaking. With global success drawn from an equal blend of quality, passion, and innovation, Freixenet and Mionetto have joined forces to provide a one-stop shop to meet industry and consumer needs for all-things-sparkling wine. Both family-owned companies with deep-rooted traditions from our native lands, Freixenet and Mionetto are proven masters of their craft. Freixenet’s story stems from the Penedès region of Spain, where our first Cava was released in 1914. With similarly humble roots, Mionetto’s heritage sprouted in the heart of the Italian Prosecco region in 1887 and was the brand that introduced Prosecco to the United States in 1998. Today, we both continue our tradition of innovation and providing quality, premium wines.

Henkell Freixenet releases its 2025 Full-Year Results with key highlights including: Key highlights -> MIONETTO S.P.A. outpaces growth of the #Prosecco market -> #Nonalcoholic portfolio posts double-digit growth -> Korbel Champagne Cellars partnership strengthens the U.S. business https://lnkd.in/ez_QY9si
Henkell Freixenet – Full-Year Results 2025 Stable revenue in a challenging market environment Henkell Freixenet, the sparkling wine, wine, and spirits division of the Oetker Collection KG, records a revenue of €1.25 billion in 2025 (net revenue excluding sparkling wine and spirits taxes), representing +0.5 % year-over-year growth. Despite a challenging market environment with declining performance in some segments and significant currency effects, the global market leader in sparkling wine delivered stable results thanks to a consistent focus on its core brands, targeted innovations and a clear understanding of consumer trends. Key highlights -> Mionetto outpaces growth of the Prosecco market -> Non-alcoholic portfolio posts double-digit growth -> Korbel partnership strengthens the U.S. business Fiscal year 2025 was marked by strained global economy and cautious consumer spending. “In this environment, Henkell Freixenet held its ground. The global sparkling wine and wine market declined in 2025, yet certain sub-segments – including Prosecco, Crémant, non-alcoholic sparkling wines, and aperitifs – grew, where our strong brands and targeted innovations enabled us to positively influence our performance,” said Dr. Andreas Brokemper, CEO of Henkell Freixenet. “We strengthened our core brands, introduced innovations particularly in the area of non-alcoholic sparkling wines, and consistently aligned our focus with consumer needs. This allowed us to gain market share in the trend categories.” With strong brands, momentum in growth categories, and a solid innovation pipeline, Henkell Freixenet enters 2026 well positioned. Giulia Cecchi of Castello di Monsanto proudly shared the winery's 2020 Chianti Classico Gran Selezione Vigna Il Poggio and 1982 vintage of Il Poggio with attendees at this weekend's Vinous Media LLC Icons #New York! Rated 98 points and listed as the Vinous #1 Wine of 2025, the 2020 vintage of Il Poggio "is one of the finest Il Poggios ever made" according to critic Antonio Galloni. The 1982 is described as "one of a slew of fantastic Chianti Classico bottlings made from that vintage". Thank you also to the Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits New York Pearl team for allowing Giulia to share a deep-dive into the winery's storied history while tasting current releases
