Garver is proud to support the Great Plains Future City competition, where middle school students imagine sustainable cities of the future. Through #GarverGives, we were honored to sponsor the Image of Excellence Award, recognizing standout creativity and presentation. Congratulations to Billy Mills Middle School (Lawrence, KS) for earning this award with an engaging skit that impressed the judges. We’re also grateful to Garver’s Eric Mutabazi, PE, Colton Brake, Lauren Johnson, and Matthew Volz, PE for volunteering as judges at the regional competition in Topeka, Kansas. Congrats to the overall winners — Southwest Middle School (Lawrence, KS) and Pike Valley Junior High (Scandia, KS) — who will represent the region in Washington, D.C., next month!

Earlier this week, a major water main break in northeast El Paso left about 100,000 residents without water. When El Paso Water reached out for support, our El Paso team quickly stepped in. Together, they gathered and delivered nearly 1,800 bottles of water to El Paso Water donation sites, with help from a #GarverGives in-kind contribution. We’re grateful for the chance to support our community and our partners when they need it.
