AI + Robotics for the Built World
About us
Gecko Robotics is the pioneer of AI + Robotics [AIR technology], transforming how the world builds, operates, and maintains its most critical infrastructure for a more reliable and sustainable future. Using fixed sensors and robots that climb, crawl, swim, and fly, we combine first-order data layers with the predictive power of AI into a single source of truth for the physical world. Cantilever® is our operating platform, powered by AIR technology, that empowers teams to achieve operational excellence through actionable data for immediate and long-term planning. Improve operations. Optimize capital outlay. Extend asset life. That's our promise.

Hear directly from U.S. Navy leadership on why Gecko's work is so important to fleet readiness and national security. At Sea-Air-Space Gecko's Troy Demmer discussed this with RDML Andrew Biehn, U.S. Navy's Director of Surface Ship Maintenance, Modernization and Sustainment; RDML Dianna Wolfson, U.S. Navy's Director of Fleet Maintenance; and Eric Chewning, HII's EVP of Maritime Systems and Corporate Strategy. Gecko Robotics reposted this
The line in this piece by David Ignatius that people continue to bring up to me , including our great Gov Josh Shapiro, is this: “Screw Silicon Valley! We’ll build it here in Western Pennsylvania, for people that nobody cared about.” It speaks to something that the “contrarians” from the valley and Wall Street have missed: the “secrets hiding in plain sight” which will disrupt industries must be observable. What that means is, in the Real World, the industries like power, energy, mining, metals, manufacturing, and defense have been forgotten about by the innovation ecosystem of America. We are mimetic creatures and therefore will “think differently” in the environment we exist in. When Troy Demmer and I were offered millions to stay in CA, we turned it down because of a principled value, “being there”: Close to the customers and the problems. Wearing the steal toed boots and hardhats not in a comfy lab in Cupertino where we theorized about the problems. Gecko was built off of the idea that the best technology in the world must be first built for the people who put their lives on the line for civilization to exist and grow! If you believe what I believe, and if you want to build technology for these forgotten people, come to Gecko Robotics, and join a mission that is contrarian to the ideas you’ve been told are true about building a tech company. https://lnkd.in/eVRcjequ

Ask, "What is your hardest problem?" Then go solve it. Hear from Nicholas Parkes what it means to be an FDE at Gecko.

"Gecko FDEs build scrappy systems under tight constraints to solve critical problems for our customers. The job description, put another way: Proving the haters wrong." Read the latest edition of Notes from the Lab, by this edition's author, Nicholas Parkes
