This World IBD Day we’re recognizing everyone who is impacted by or connected to Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD). Living with IBD isn't a solo journey. Many aspects of this chronic and complex condition are not visible and can be misunderstood. From researchers and gastroenterologists to patients’ support networks, effective IBD management requires collaboration. We are committed to being part of this community by driving important conversations to better support patients and by advancing care. #WorldIBDDay

Groundbreaking science only fulfills its promise when it can reach the communities who need it most. Kudos to this team for their bold thinking and for setting new standards in the pursuit of a healthier future.
This week, our manuscript on integrated women’s health, focusing on early detection and treatment of cervical and breast cancer, was published in Cancer Medicine. By Roche establishing multi-stakeholder partnerships alongside Jhpiego, we successfully implemented cervical and breast cancer screening programs into routine clinical services across diverse settings—ensuring thousands of women gained access to timely screening and treatment. A heartfelt thank you to our joint first authors, Dr. Mary Efua Commeh and Dr. Nuzhat Husain, as well as all our incredible colleagues and partners who built trust with local communities and made this impact possible. #Breaking: The FDA approved our treatment for relapsing-remitting multiple sclerosis (RRMS) in pediatric patients 10 years of age and older who weigh 55 pounds or more. This approval represents an important milestone for children living with MS in the U.S. and their families, and can help close the longstanding gap in treatment options for children aged 10 and older. We look forward to continuing our commitment to the MS community and helping improve the lives of those living with this chronic condition. It takes an average of 6 years for people living with #lupus to receive a proper diagnosis. That can mean years of searching for answers while the disease progresses, often due to subtle symptoms that are easy to miss. Earlier recognition is critical, not just for diagnosis, but for helping patients access the right care and treatment sooner. While steroids have long played an important role in helping manage inflammation in lupus, understanding both their benefits and potential side effects remains an important part of treatment decisions. This #WorldLupusDay, we’re committed to advancing education and awareness to help drive earlier recognition and more informed approaches to care.
