The Kodiak Driver is moving deeper into the defense ecosystem. Kodiak and General Dynamics Land Systems have formed a strategic collaboration to develop autonomous ground vehicles for defense applications. Kodiak will provide the Kodiak Driver, our Physical AI-powered virtual driver that’s operating driverlessly today. GDLS will lead vehicle integration, power systems, communications, and ruggedized platform development. Together, we plan to pursue U.S. and international defense opportunities to expand our joint vehicle portfolio, building on our first vehicle developed with GDLS: the Leonidas Autonomous Ground Vehicle, equipped with Epirus’ high-power microwave platform for mobile counter-drone operations. This collaboration is part of Kodiak’s dual-path approach to defense: working with industry leaders like GDLS while also contracting directly with the Pentagon through programs like the Marines’ ROGUE Fires program. Defense autonomy will be built through commercial technology, defense-grade integration, and close alignment with the missions ahead.
