The National Beer Wholesalers Association Legislative Conference gave us a clear read on where this industry is heading. It was a powerful few days watching beer wholesalers take the issues that shape their businesses directly to Capitol Hill. The impact of this industry on local economies, jobs, and communities is enormous, and seeing it represented with such a unified voice is a reminder of why the work matters. That impact came through in the conversations on stage, too. The distributors who think long-term are investing in two places: technology and people. Rebecca L. Maisel framed it in a way that every operator should be sitting with. Weigh the cost of moving forward against the cost of standing still. Thank you to the NBWA and NBWA BREW team - Willie Reed, Kimberly McKinnish, Craig Purser, Steve Beykirch - for putting on such a successful event.
