This Thanksgiving, I’m especially grateful for three things: family, Team Purple, and the gift of good health. Earlier this year, a bike accident gave me an unexpected crash course in why our mission matters so much. Navigating the healthcare system as a patient—not just as a CEO—reminded me that behind every unexpected event, every claim, every HSA, every interaction is a person who needs clarity, compassion, and support in a vulnerable moment. Experiences like that bring our mission into sharp focus: we save and improve lives by empowering healthcare consumers. What makes me most proud is how consistently Team Purple brings that mission to life.
