We love supporting opportunities that remind our teams to pause, move, connect, and show up for one another because those moments matter long after the finish line. So proud of everyone who participated, cheered each other on, and helped make the evening such a great reflection of Heartland’s culture! #HeartlandMovesTogether #MoveForMentalWellness #MentalHealthAwarenessMonth
One of my favorite traditions at Heartland Veterinary Partners is our annual Move for Mental Wellness Month every May. The purpose is simple but important: raise awareness around the powerful connection between physical and mental health. Across the country, our teams come together in different ways to support healthier habits — whether that’s movement, meditation, healthier eating, mindfulness, or simply making time to connect with each other. Last night, part of our Support Center team participated in the Chase Corporate Challenge, and moments like this are exactly why I love this initiative so much. Yes, it’s about wellness - but it’s also about community, connection, encouragement, and showing up together outside of our day-to-day work. Throughout my career, I’ve learned that culture is built in these moments. The conversations before the race, the cheering each other on, the shared laughs, the sense of belonging - those things matter. They strengthen teams in ways that carry back into the workplace long after the event is over. Grateful to work for an organization that prioritizes the well-being of our team members and creates opportunities for us to move together, connect, and support one another.
