⭐Help at Home takes care of a lot of wonderful mothers! In fact, sometimes our caregivers take care of their own mothers! ❤️Gladys, in Skokie, Ill., worked in restaurants for years before her mother started having health problems in her 80s. Gladys decided to become a preferred family caregiver for her mother, through Help at Home. This meant she could care for her mother while still earning a living. 💡Happy Mother’s Day!

💜 Happy Nurses Week! Today we honor the dedication, compassion, and expertise of nurses across the country — especially those who are part of the Help at Home family. 👩⚕️🩺 Our nurses play a critical role in supporting safe, high-quality care in the home. They provide clinical guidance, advocate for our clients, support our caregivers, and ensure that individuals with complex needs can live safely, independently, and with dignity where they feel most comfortable: at home. 🌟 Whether conducting assessments, coordinating care, monitoring health conditions, or offering a reassuring voice during difficult moments, our nurses make a meaningful difference every single day. 💜 To all Help at Home nurses: thank you for the heart you bring to your work, the lives you touch, and the teams you strengthen. We are proud to work alongside you and grateful for everything you do to support our mission. #NursesWeek #HelpatHome #ThankYouNurses #CultureOfCaring #HomeCare #WholePersonCare #CommunityHealth #AgingInPlace #CaregiverSupport

💜 May is Mental Health Month — and it matters more than ever. 🧠 Mental health affects every aspect of our lives: how we think, how we feel, how we connect, and how we care for others. For older adults, individuals with disabilities, caregivers, veterans, and families, the challenges can be especially complex — and often overlooked. 💜 At Help at Home, we recognize that caring for mental health is just as important as caring for physical health. Our relationship-based approach means we support the whole person, helping clients stay engaged, connected, and safe at home — where comfort and dignity are strongest. 🤝 This month, we also honor our caregivers and care teams. They are companions, encouragers, advocates, and listeners. They help reduce loneliness, support independence, and create meaningful moments every day. 🌱 Mental health deserves conversation, compassion, and care — not stigma. If you or someone you love is struggling, you are not alone. Help is available, and hope is real. #MentalHealthMonth #HelpatHome #CultureOfCaring #MentalHealthMatters #CaregiverSupport #WholePersonCare #AgingInPlace #IDD #DisabilitySupport #VeteranCare #CommunityCare

🌍 Happy Earth Day! 🌱 Today, we celebrate the planet we call home — and the communities, neighborhoods and households where care happens every day. At Help at Home, “home” has always mattered. It’s where people feel safest, most independentand most connected to the world around them. 💚 Supporting clients to live well at home also means supporting healthier environments — whether that’s reducing unnecessary trips, using digital tools to streamline paperwork, or empowering caregivers to help clients stay active and engaged in their own communities. 🌿 As we look to the future, we remain committed to thoughtful practices that honor people and the planet — because caring for one another and caring for the Earth go hand in hand. Happy Earth Day from all of us at Help at Home! #EarthDay #HelpAtHome #Sustainability #CultureOfCaring #Community #HomeCare #Independence #AgingInPlace

❤️Caregivers show up every day for others. But who shows up for them? ⭐That’s what the Help at Home Community Foundation is all about, supporting caregivers so they can live, thrive, and grow. ❤️Last month, leaders from Help at Home, the home care community, and other partners gathered in Chicago for the Help at Home Community Foundation's annual gala, Unmasking Potential. Together, we celebrated the Foundation's impact and raised funds to support Caregivers when they need it most. Thank you to the event sponsors and everyone who attended, donated, and supported the gala. Your continued support makes it possible for the Foundation to grow its reach and develop new programs. 🔓 Help at Home leadership teams came together in Chicago last month to talk about the ways our services “Unlock Potential” for caregivers, clients, and communities. 🗝️For many people, the key to a safe, healthy, and happy life is getting the support they need to age-in-place, at home, as independently as possible. By helping with meal prep, hygiene and mobility, our caregivers make that possible for clients every day! ❤️ Our leaders, meanwhile, work to empower the caregivers. As part of our meeting, our 150 top leaders divided into groups to visit client homes, VA centers, senior housing facilities, and Help at Home office locations. CEO Chris Hocevar visited a client at home and our COO Raymond Smithberger with caregivers and clients at an office location. 🌸While in the field, our leadership team assembled 300 care kits for clients and caregivers and hosted connection activities like bingo. Most importantly, our leadership got to reconnect with our mission on a personal level – spending time with the clients we serve every day.
