Join us for "AI and Impact: Building Your Edge While Minding the Gap," a panel at the 2026 IILWG/Grunin Center Annual Conference on Legal Issues in Social Entrepreneurship and Impact Investing – in the US and Beyond under the theme, "Building Career and Community." 🎤 Moderator: Katherine Hughes 👥 Panelists: Joe Green, Jesse Gero, Sayuri Ganesarajah, and Lauren E. 🎟️ Register for the conference: https://bit.ly/48yg997 🗓️ Explore the conference agenda: https://lnkd.in/eEFy6f6A Formal training rarely prepares impact lawyers for the realities of practice at the intersection of law, capital, and social change; the practice is learned on the job. AI is now arriving into that same space, and it's raising questions that practitioners at every career stage are grappling with. Two questions shape this panel. First is a personal question: how do you actually use AI well in the impact and social entrepreneurship space? How can AI be used to sharpen judgment, deepen client relationships, and build innovation? Second is a macro question: AI's benefits are not arriving evenly, and the communities in which we work in the impact space may be most at risk of being left further behind. We don't yet know what that looks like or how quickly it will come. As impact professionals, do we have an obligation to ask questions and seek solutions? Panelists will share practitioner-level perspectives on what it means, in this moment, to build a practice that is both more effective and more awakened to who gets left out.

Prediction markets are at a regulatory inflection point. We submitted a formal comment to the CFTC on whether it has the jurisdiction to shape a sound framework. Our submission responds to the Advance Notice of Proposed Rulemaking on Prediction Markets (RIN 3038-AF65), urging the Commission to clarify its jurisdiction over event contracts and establish clear standards that support responsible innovation while preserving market integrity. Our core positions: → The CFTC has exclusive jurisdiction over prediction markets under the CEA; this should be made explicit → Prediction markets are structured financial contracts, not like gambling → ~1,600 event contracts were certified in 2025 alone; inconsistent guidance is no longer sufficient → A fragmented state-by-state regime would create regulatory arbitrage and undermine market integrity How the CFTC resolves these questions will determine whether prediction markets develop within a coherent federal framework or get left to a body of law that was never designed to govern them. As regulators and policy makers work through these decisions, we look forward to contributing our experience and perspective to help build frameworks that give this space the clarity it needs to operate safely and at scale. One of the most important structural shifts in digital asset markets is where price discovery actually happens. Spot markets still set reference prices, but risk transfer has decisively shifted toward derivatives, especially perpetual futures. In Q4 2025, the largest moves, forced liquidations, and liquidity air pockets were driven less by spot selling and more by leveraged positioning resetting through perpetual swap markets. Understanding crypto now requires understanding perps, funding, and basis, not just token narratives. Read on to understand why derivatives (not spot markets) are driving crypto volatility. https://lnkd.in/eswSDhB3

EIP-4337 is steadily turning Ethereum accounts into programmable policy containers rather than simple key pairs. Capabilities such as delegated permissions, batched actions, spending limits, and gas sponsorship are becoming easier to express at the wallet layer. That matters for institutions and enterprises, where operational policy must be encoded rather than assumed. This is not just a user experience upgrade. It is a sovereignty upgrade that allows users and organizations to express transaction policy directly in code rather than relying on platform discretion. In our recent piece on Ethereum post-Fusaka, we look at how these usability shifts sit alongside the protocol's core scaling work and why a credibly neutral, widely verifiable settlement layer may be the most underrated feature in infrastructure right now. https://lnkd.in/eidXvBqF
